"Our Mission:The mission of our sales staff is to be different. Unlike other dealerships, our sales agenda is designed to build relationships first and sell product second. Our qualified staff is trained to work with each and every customer with the same, passive, demeanor and ensure that they are properly informed of all options before making the right purchase. To Jet Ski of Miami, a purchase is more then a sale, it is the start of a relationship.
The mission of our service staff is to not only meet, but to exceed all of your boating expectations. Our staff is schooled to utilize a combination of efficiency, customer concern, and attention to detail in order to keep our top priority at the forefront of our service agenda, keeping your vessel safely on the water and not in our service bays. This is the goal of Jet Ski of
Miami and Fisherman’s Boat Group." In my opinion this is a good example of a clear and meaningful mission statement. The company shows concern more for customers rather than for products, their sales people want first to establish relationship with customers by helping them to make a right purchase . It also states that the company top priority is a safety of their customers on the water. The mission statement tells us that this company provides the best service for their customers in efficient way.

Unlike most of our classmates blogs, you took a reletavly unknown company as your example. Jet ski of Miami and Fisherman’s Boat Group. I liked that - a refreshing change. Another aspect of the blog that I liked is the way it presented how even a sales dealership can present a mission statement that can show how they differ from many similar dealerships in the field.
The statement is both clear and meaningful, just as you noted.

Good morning Nathalia,
I can see that you had a good mission statement right there, but you missed to adress the first part which is "What makes one mission statement better than another? Develop some criteria for evaluating a mission statement. I believe that you could go back to add that part.

When i read this mission statement I believe it looked too wordy. But aside from that I also like that is focuses on the customers because that is who will bring them the business they need. However, I still think that the product is very important because evern if you had all the customers in the world they would not buy from this company unless they knew the product to be of good queality. I think it maybe should be better to have the product come first and then have the customers come second.

I definitly agree with you about the great mission statement and your explaination. From the mission statement I can tell that Fisherman's Boat Group differenitate itself from other boat company is it's outstanding service. Although this mission is a bit too long to read, (maybe because I have a lazy personality), but it is a very good mission statement. Good job.

Jet Ski of Miami and Fisherman’s Boat Group is an unknown to me, but I guess if you are from Miami and into Jet Ski it’s a popular company.
Their mission statements is not a document that is liable in a court of law (I think), but this company does show the reader that they do have the consumer as a top priority.

Next time that I want to Jet Ski done south I know where to go.
Thanks for the advice

Hello Natalya!
I really enjoyed reading your Jet Ski of Miami mission statement and your opinion. I totally agree with what you said about their good customer service that is just more than what they sell. The mission statement is kindly stated how qualified their services are by mentioning their nice staffs and the attitudes towards their customers. Once again I felt how important it is to care about customers in the first place.
